State Representative Joan Ballweg announced she is running for re-election to serve the people of Wisconsin’s 41st Assembly District.
“Job creation still has to be the top priority when the legislature reconvenes,” said Ballweg. “In addition, we have been able to control spending and balance the state budget. We need to work to make our state government smaller by reducing regulation and eliminating waste and fraud.”
Since the last census, redistricting has changed the 41st District quite a bit. Much of Marquette County has been added, as has the southern half of Adams County, City of Wisconsin Dells and Village of Lake Delton. Leaving the 41st District is Waushara County, except the City of Berlin, and parts of southern Fond du Lac and Green Lake Counties. Follow this link to determine which district you now reside.
Joan and her husband, Tom, have owned and operated Ballweg Implement for over 35 years, first in Markesan, and now in Waupun and Beaver Dam.
Other priorities for Ballweg, when the legislature re-convenes, are to continue her work on job training and career preparation for middle and high school students and modernization of financial aid and higher education.
